MEGHNAROY
Round Rock ISD deserves leadership that works for everyone—students, parents, teachers, staff, and community members. Meghna Roy is running to listen, act, and deliver for Place 5.
"Our schools should be places where every student is put first, every parent, teacher, and community member has a voice, and every taxpayer dollar is accounted for."
— Meghna Roy
What we're fighting for
Meghna Roy is focused on the issues that matter most to RRISD families.
Student-Centered Success
Put students at the center of every decision: academic excellence, safety, and mental health support for every child
Parent and Teacher Partnership
Bring parents and teachers into the decision-making process with transparency, respect, and open dialogue
Fiscal Accountability
Restore rigorous budget oversight for taxpayer stewardship so every dollar reaches classrooms, teachers, and students
Community
Strong schools protect our investment — they protect our home's value, our tax dollars, and the vibrant community we all share, whether one has a child in a classroom or not

A parent and advocate for public schools
Meghna Roy is a Round Rock ISD parent, community volunteer, and advocate for student-centered stewardship of our district resources.
With a background in technology executive leadership and a student-centered approach to problem-solving, Meghna has a track record of asking hard questions and doing the right thing. She co-founded Access Education RRISD at a time when no such PAC existed in Central Texas and public school boards were being primed for takeover by national fringe groups. She built the organization from the ground up, with the community, taking on the heavy responsibility of treasurer for a new and inexperienced political organization with $0 in the campaign bank, putting herself in direct line of legal fire. She is proud to have run the organization during its debut election season in 2022 with every cent accounted for in the campaign.
She believes trust is built through transparency and is running to give families a stronger voice in the decisions that shape their children's futures.
